PfP Training and Education Centers A PfP Training and Education Center (PTC) is a national training facility in a NATO Allied or Partner country, recognized by NATO as such in accordance with the terms of the NATO Concept for PfP Training Centres. By national decision, a PTC conducts PfP-related education and training activities that are made available to all Allies and Partners and may include workshops, courses, or seminars or training of a more operational character, such as military exercises. The PTC’s proposed education and training activities should fall within the overall scope of PfP and support its objectives; in particular, they should enhance Allies/Partner interoperability. In addition, PfP activities at the PTC will be transparent and open to all members of the PfP and should aim to promote national and/or regional initiatives, without creating dividing lines. Finally, in order to avoid duplication of efforts and resources, the PTC should, as far as possible, contribute and conform to a regional and functional spread of training facilities. There are currently 24 PTCs recognized by NATO:
Bosnia-Herzegovina Bulgaria Egypt Finland Germany Georgia Greece Italy Jordan Kazakhstan Moldova Romania Slovakia Slovenia Sweden Switzerland Turkey Ukraine United Kingdom United States
